At 18, what this Amada UK apprentice has achieved is incredible!
By Lyndsey Vickers
“A core part of Amada’s internal growth comes from the apprentice scheme”
James Rhodes of Amada UK is proof of exactly that. Three years into his apprenticeship, rotating through refurb, press brakes, lasers, and now specialising in sales consultancy, helping customers make crucial decisions about the right technology for their needs.
He’s even upsold a machine!
Lyndsey Vickers of MTDCNC sits down with James to hear about his apprenticeship journey and why understanding what’s behind the covers of a machine makes all the difference when you’re explaining technology to a customer. If you ever needed proof that apprenticeships work, James is it.
