With more than three decades of experience in the metal packaging and beverage can industry, Dushyant Kumar brings extensive expertise in operations, manufacturing, supply chain management, and commercial strategy. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in establishing and managing large-scale business operations across different markets. His previous leadership experience at Canpack India and exposure to global packaging markets have equipped him with a deep understanding of industry trends, customer requirements, and operational excellence.

AGI Greenpac’s leadership believes that Kumar’s appointment comes at a crucial time as the company advances its strategic plans in the aluminium cans segment. The company recently commenced construction of a new aluminium can manufacturing facility in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. Backed by an investment of approximately ₹1,000 crore, the facility represents one of the company’s most significant growth initiatives in recent years.

Once operational, the plant will have an annual production capacity of approximately 1.6 billion aluminium cans, with the flexibility to expand beyond 2 billion cans in the future. The facility is expected to play a vital role in meeting the rising demand from India’s fast-growing beverage industry, which continues to witness increased consumption across carbonated drinks, energy drinks, packaged water, and other ready-to-drink categories.
