KVS Castings expands production capacity to 19,200 MTPA with commissioning of new manufacturing facility!
KVS Castings Limited has announced a major expansion of its manufacturing capabilities with the commencement of commercial operations at its newly established production facility, Unit 2. The facility became operational at the start of business on March 2, 2026, marking an important milestone in the company’s strategy to scale production and strengthen its position in the industrial castings sector.
With the commissioning of the new unit, KVS Castings has significantly increased its total installed production capacity from 7,200 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) to 19,200 MTPA. This nearly threefold increase in capacity reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its manufacturing infrastructure and responding to the growing demand for high-quality cast components across multiple industries.
The capacity expansion forms part of the company’s broader growth strategy following its Initial Public Offer (IPO). During the IPO, KVS Castings had outlined plans to allocate a portion of the raised capital toward capital expenditure for the purchase and installation of advanced manufacturing equipment. The successful commissioning of Unit 2 demonstrates the company’s effective execution of this investment plan and its focus on building a stronger and more scalable manufacturing base.
The new facility has been equipped with modern machinery and upgraded production systems designed to improve operational efficiency and increase output capacity. By integrating advanced manufacturing technologies and improved production processes, the company aims to enhance productivity while maintaining strict quality standards for its products. The upgraded systems are expected to streamline manufacturing workflows, reduce production bottlenecks and enable more efficient use of resources across the plant.
The expansion also strengthens the company’s ability to meet rising market demand and support its growing customer base. With the additional capacity now available, KVS Castings will be able to undertake larger production volumes, shorten delivery timelines and improve overall service levels for customers. The increased capacity also creates opportunities for the company to expand its market presence and secure new business from industrial clients seeking reliable casting suppliers.
Demand for high-quality cast components continues to grow across sectors such as automotive, heavy engineering, machinery manufacturing and industrial equipment. Manufacturers in these sectors require durable and precision-engineered cast parts that meet strict performance and quality requirements. By expanding its production capacity and upgrading its manufacturing infrastructure, KVS Castings is positioning itself to serve these markets more effectively.
The commissioning of Unit 2 also reinforces the company’s focus on long-term operational growth and sustainability. Investments in modern machinery and improved production systems are expected to enhance manufacturing reliability, reduce operational inefficiencies and support consistent product quality. These improvements are critical as the company aims to strengthen its competitiveness in the industrial casting market.
Through this expansion, KVS Castings has taken a significant step toward building a larger and more efficient production platform. The increased capacity will allow the company to better address evolving customer needs while supporting future growth opportunities in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.
