Kennametal Introduces 7792VX High Feed Milling Platform for Demanding Materials
By Tom Skubala
Kennametal has announced the launch of its new 7792VX High Feed Indexable Milling platform, developed to help manufacturers efficiently machine demanding materials such as aerospace alloys, stainless steels and high temperature components.
High feed milling focuses on maximising material removal while maintaining stable cutting conditions, accuracy and predictable tool life. The 7792VX platform has been engineered to deliver this balance through a robust cutter body design combined with advanced insert geometry that promotes smooth cutting action and consistent performance.

The tooling solution is designed to enable faster stock removal while maintaining high surface quality, helping manufacturers improve productivity when working with materials that typically present machining challenges.
For industries such as aerospace and automotive, where machine uptime and process reliability are critical, tooling performance plays a significant role in overall profitability. Stable cutting conditions and extended tool life reduce unplanned stoppages, lower cost per component and help ensure consistent production output.

With the launch of the 7792VX platform, Kennametal continues to focus on tooling technologies that allow manufacturers to machine difficult materials more efficiently without compromising quality.
The new platform reinforces the importance of tooling strategy as a key factor in modern manufacturing productivity, demonstrating how the right cutting tools can significantly influence machining performance alongside advanced machine tool technology.
