AXISCADES Technologies Limited wins new production order for avionics hardware in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited LCA Mk1A programme!

AXISCADES Technologies Limited has secured a fresh production order through its subsidiary, Mistral Solutions Pvt Ltd, reinforcing its position in India’s defence and aerospace ecosystem. The order, valued at approximately ₹25 crore, has been awarded under Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s LCA Mk1A programme and involves the supply of Single Board Computer (SBC) units to support avionics systems for the aircraft.

The LCA Mk1A programme represents a critical phase in India’s indigenous fighter aircraft development, aimed at enhancing combat capabilities with upgraded avionics, radar systems and electronic warfare features. Under this contract, Mistral Solutions will design and deliver advanced embedded computing hardware that forms a core component of the aircraft’s avionics architecture. Single Board Computers play a vital role in processing, communication and control functions, ensuring reliable performance in mission-critical environments.

Production and delivery of the units will take place at AXISCADES’ newly inaugurated Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Complex (DAL), located within the Bangalore Aerospace Park near Kempegowda International Airport. The facility has been established to strengthen domestic manufacturing capabilities in critical defence and aerospace systems. By consolidating high-value production within India, the complex supports the broader objective of self-reliance in defence manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

Ltd., stated that the contract reflects the AXISCADES Group’s expanding contribution to indigenous manufacturing and its ongoing support of national defence programmes. The order further underscores the company’s capability in advanced embedded platforms and defence electronics, particularly in applications requiring high reliability, ruggedization and compliance with stringent aerospace standards.
