Karbonsteel Engineering Ltd has secured two new domestic orders valued at ₹51.96 crore, further strengthening its position in India’s structural steel fabrication sector. With these latest wins, the company’s confirmed order book has risen to approximately ₹320 crore, surpassing its FY25 revenue of ₹273 crore and providing strong visibility for execution in the coming quarters.

The newly awarded contracts involve the manufacture and supply of painted mild steel fabricated structures and building components. The work has been awarded by a leading infrastructure client and is scheduled for completion by May 31, 2026. The projects are entirely domestic and do not involve any related-party transactions, reflecting independent business growth driven by steady market demand.

These order wins significantly enhance Karbonsteel’s execution pipeline. With a confirmed order book that exceeds the previous financial year’s revenue, the company enters FY26 with a strong backlog, ensuring steady production schedules and improved revenue predictability. Management has indicated that the robust order position reflects sustained demand across infrastructure and industrial segments.

In addition to the confirmed contracts, Karbonsteel is actively participating in new tenders across infrastructure, railway and industrial sectors. The company is also exploring export opportunities in structural steel fabrication. Potential near-term orders, including export enquiries, are estimated between ₹100 crore and ₹200 crore, which could further strengthen the growth trajectory in the coming quarters.

India’s ongoing infrastructure expansion continues to drive demand for structural steel fabrication. Investments in railways, metro networks, industrial facilities, steel plants and bridge construction are creating long-term opportunities for companies operating in this segment. Karbonsteel’s capabilities in heavy and precision steel structures, supported by its RDSO-approved facility, position it well to benefit from this sustained growth cycle. Strong repeat business from established clients and high plant utilization levels are also contributing to a steady inflow of new projects.

Operationally, the company is currently running at around 90 percent capacity utilization, indicating strong demand and efficient execution. To support increasing order volumes, expansion at the Umbergaon plant is progressing, with capacity set to increase from 30,000 metric tons to 54,000 metric tons per year. The expanded capacity is expected to become operational from March 2026, enabling the company to handle larger production volumes and more complex projects.

Looking ahead, management expects revenue growth of 30 to 40 percent by FY27, supported by higher capacity, a strong order pipeline and improved operating leverage. With a healthy backlog, repeat customers and expansion plans nearing completion, Karbonsteel Engineering Ltd appears well positioned to strengthen its presence in the structural steel fabrication sector and capitalize on India’s infrastructure-led growth momentum.
