Motul India showcased its advanced lubrication and fluid technologies at SIAT Expo 2026, highlighting its vision for safe, sustainable and future-ready mobility. Aligned with the event’s theme, Innovative Pathways for Safe and Sustainable Mobility, Motul’s presence demonstrated how lubricant innovation continues to play a critical role as the automotive industry transitions across electrification, alternative fuels and efficiency-driven powertrains.

At the expo, Motul India presented a broad portfolio of solutions designed for next-generation mobility platforms. The company highlighted advanced fluid technologies developed for direct cooling of electric motors, power electronics and immersive battery systems—areas that are becoming increasingly important as electric vehicle power densities rise. These solutions underscored how thermal management fluids can directly influence vehicle efficiency, reliability and safety.

A key highlight of Motul’s showcase was its E-Gen fluid technology range for hybrid and electric vehicles. Designed to support the thermal and electrical demands of EV drivetrains, batteries and power electronics, the E-Gen range was positioned as a scalable solution aligned with India’s growing electrification roadmap. Motul emphasised that such fluids will become increasingly critical as EV adoption accelerates and charging infrastructure expands.

Alongside electrification-focused products, Motul also showcased its NGEN sustainable lubricant range, produced using base oils derived from re-refined lubricants. This portfolio reflected the company’s commitment to circular economy principles and responsible resource utilisation, addressing sustainability beyond tailpipe emissions. In addition, Motul presented early-stage lubricant technologies developed for hydrogen internal combustion engines, reinforcing its engagement with future fuel pathways while continuing to support existing ICE platforms.

Motul further highlighted its global race-to-road engineering philosophy through OEM-validated technologies. The company showcased a lubricant approved by Mercedes-Benz and another developed in collaboration with Toyota Racing Development, demonstrating how motorsport and high-performance applications contribute to real-world durability and efficiency.

Dr Julien Plet, Global Head of R&D at Motul, delivered a keynote on Innovative Fluids for NextGen Mobility, noting that Motul’s global R&D teams continue to advance lubricant performance for current powertrains while developing technologies aligned with future mobility needs and regional market conditions. Nagendra Pai, CEO of Motul India & South Asia, stated that SIAT Expo served as a critical platform to showcase Motul’s global innovation capabilities in India, reinforcing the company’s readiness to lead across electrification, sustainability and alternative fuel technologies.

Through its participation at SIAT Expo 2026, Motul demonstrated how lubricant and fluid innovation remains a foundational enabler of the automotive industry’s next phase of transformation.
