China CNC Machine Tool Fair 2024 (CCMT2024) was successfully held in April
2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Sponsored and
organized by the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association and
co-organized by Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd., the theme
of exhibition is “Focus on——Digitalization, Interconnection, Intelligent
Manufacturing “, it showcased the latest achievements for the machine tool
industry in digitalization, interconnectivity, intelligent manufacturing, and
efficient processing, it reflected the global machine tool industry’s steadfast
and clear direction towards a broader future. The event took place against the
backdrop of China’s economy entering a new development phase, where
technological innovation drives industrial innovation, develops new productive
forces, and promotes high-quality industry growth. The timing of CCMT2024
was opportune, gathering the wisdom and strength of the industry to explore
new growth drivers and development paths for the future of the machine tool
industry.
CCMT is the sister show of CIMT which is the most authoritative show in
China, and now CCMT plays more and more strong influence on the machine
tool industry and especially in East China where the machine tool market is
very active.
The current backdrop of high-quality economic development in China has
opened up new market opportunities for the machine tool industry. The Central
Economic Work Conference explicitly stated that technological innovation
should drive industrial innovation, particularly using disruptive and cutting-edge
technologies to spawn new industries, models, and drivers, developing new
productive forces, with a focus on emerging industries, digital economy, green
and low-carbon fields, and intelligent manufacturing. By 2025, the government
will increase support for “two new” and “two major” projects, which will bring
additional incremental demand to the machine tool industry.
CCMT2026 will be held under such a background, utilizing the entire 200,000
square meters of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. It will attract
thousands of suppliers and users enterprises from the global industry to jointly
present a premier manufacturing event that perfectly integrates digitalization,
new technologies, and machine tools
