Kilburn Engineering Limited Forms JV with East End Technologies Pvt Ltd to Strengthen Mechanical Site Execution!

Kilburn Engineering Limited has announced the formation of a Joint Venture Company (JVC) with East End Technologies Pvt Ltd, an Odisha-based engineering and manufacturing firm, to jointly pursue mechanical site execution projects and expand Kilburn’s presence in Eastern India. The JV, to be incorporated in Kolkata, will focus on piping fabrication and erection, structural fabrication and erection, equipment installation, and pre-commissioning support.

The Joint Venture will primarily serve sectors such as oil & gas, fertilizers, petrochemicals, and steel, with initial operations concentrated in Eastern India. The move marks a strategic shift for Kilburn, which has historically relied on third-party contractors for site-based mechanical works. By creating a dedicated execution arm, Kilburn aims to directly participate in site-intensive project bids while maintaining tighter control over safety, quality, timelines, and costs.

Founded in 1999, East End Technologies Pvt Ltd is a well-established engineering and manufacturing company with strong expertise in furnace-related and specialised equipment for chemical plants and refineries. The company operates one of the largest manufacturing facilities in Eastern India and holds a dominant position in supplying furnace equipment to ferro-alloy plants in the region.

In addition to manufacturing, East End Technologies brings substantial mechanical construction and site execution experience, including blast furnaces for steel plants, syngas plants for petrochemical applications, and sulphur recovery units for refineries. Its execution track record includes more than 15,000 metric tonnes of structural and equipment erection and over 20 lakh inch-metres of pipeline fabrication and erection, making it a strong regional execution partner.

Commenting on the development, Ranjit Lala, Managing Director of Kilburn Engineering Limited, said the Joint Venture represents an important step in Kilburn’s expansion into site execution, combining complementary strengths to deliver complex site projects across the country.

The Joint Venture is expected to significantly enhance Kilburn’s ability to bid for and execute large-scale mechanical site projects in Eastern India while establishing a long-term regional presence backed by East End Technologies’ infrastructure and execution strength.
