Jyoti Global Plast has announced the launch of AeroCrop, a high-performance agricultural drone designed to enhance precision spraying and support modern, technology-driven farming practices across India. Backed by the company’s four decades of expertise in precision plastic and FRP moulding, AeroCrop marks a significant expansion of Jyoti Global Plast’s footprint in the unmanned systems sector. With a focus on reliability, accuracy and practical field performance, the platform is engineered to address the real-world spraying challenges faced by farmers nationwide.
The AeroCrop drone is built for dependable operation in diverse agricultural environments. It delivers up to 29 minutes of flight time without payload and 22 minutes with payload, supported by a maximum take-off weight of 27.5 kg. Its 10-liter chemical tank is designed for compatibility with both flat jet and centrifugal nozzles, ensuring consistent droplet formation and uniform spray patterns. Capable of spraying one acre in five to eight minutes, the system can cover up to 30 acres per day, significantly improving chemical use efficiency while reducing the time and labor associated with traditional spraying methods.
A key highlight of AeroCrop is its advanced radar-assisted navigation system, which enables the drone to maintain height, follow terrain contours and avoid obstacles with precision. This ensures stable autonomous operation even in challenging field conditions. By automating the spraying process, AeroCrop enhances operator safety, minimizes chemical exposure, reduces wastage and provides consistent coverage across varied terrain. The intuitive control system and robust automation make the drone suitable for experienced operators as well as farmers adopting mechanized spraying for the first time.
Deven Shah, Whole Time Director and CEO of Jyoti Global Plast, emphasized the company’s engineering ethos, noting that AeroCrop reflects a commitment to practicality, durability and performance. He stated that the goal is to make precision spraying accessible and safe for farmers without compromising on build quality or operational ease. This aligns with the broader industry need for reliable agricultural tools that improve productivity and reduce manual intervention.
The launch of AeroCrop follows a series of strategic expansions by Jyoti Global Plast into unmanned systems. Earlier in the year, the company introduced its first day-and-night surveillance drone equipped with thermal and visual sensors for inspection and monitoring applications. This was later followed by an industrial cleaning drone line, capable of high-pressure washing for solar plants, vertical structures and large infrastructures. The cleaning drone recently secured its first commercial order from a solar EPC company, highlighting strong early-market validation.
With AeroCrop, Jyoti Global Plast continues to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly growing UAV sector. By diversifying into agriculture, surveillance, industrial cleaning and infrastructure-focused drone solutions, the company aims to support broader adoption of efficient, reliable and cost-effective unmanned technologies across key industries.
