Reiter’s Custom Welding Inc., a respected provider of steel fabrication, metal processing, and contract manufacturing services, is entering a significant phase of growth with the development of a new 40,000-sq.-ft. facility in Glendale, Arizona. This expansion marks a major milestone for the company as it continues to scale its capabilities, integrate modern technologies, and meet the increasing demand for high-quality, fast-turnaround fabrication solutions.
According to Donald Reiter, vice president of the company, the new facility represents a strong commitment to transforming their manufacturing processes through the adoption of advanced technologies and automation. “We’re investing heavily in automation, advanced equipment, and a more streamlined workflow,” he said. “The new space allows us to modernize how we build—faster setups, cleaner processes, and better integration across engineering, production, and quality control.” The company’s goal is to create a highly efficient environment that minimizes downtime, reduces manual bottlenecks, and enhances consistency across all stages of production.
The upcoming plant is designed to house a wide range of state-of-the-art systems, including automated laser cutting, waterjet cutting, press brake forming, and both manual and robotic welding capabilities. This versatility will enable Reiter’s Custom Welding to handle more complex projects, adapt to diverse customer requirements, and maintain the precision and quality standards their clients depend on. In addition to fabrication and processing, the facility will also feature expanded areas for engineering, quality control, and logistics, ensuring smoother coordination and improved operational flow.
Ross Reiter, director of operations and business development, emphasized how the new facility strengthens the company’s ability to deliver on customer expectations. “This new facility gives us the space, technology, and layout we need to take on larger projects, increase output, and continue setting the standard in turnaround times for our customers,” he said. With enhanced floor space and modern infrastructure, the company will be well-positioned to serve industries requiring dependable, timely, and high-precision fabrication services.
Reiter’s Custom Welding expects the new Glendale plant to be fully operational by mid-Q1 2026. Importantly, the company has assured its customers that existing operations will continue without interruption during the transition. The expansion not only reflects Reiter’s confidence in the growing manufacturing landscape of Arizona but also signals their long-term commitment to innovation, customer service, and the future of advanced fabrication.
