Exide Industries Appoints Manoj Agarwal as CFO to Lead Financial Operations!

Exide Industries Ltd has announced the appointment of Manoj Kumar Agarwal as the new Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This appointment comes after the retirement of Asish Kumar Mukherjee, who served as the CFO for 18 years. Agarwal, who has been with the company since February 2023 as the Deputy CFO, will now take on the responsibility of overseeing Exide’s financial operations while driving the company’s financial and operational framework forward.

Agarwal brings over 30 years of experience to Exide, having worked in senior leadership roles across finance, accounts, audit, taxation, procurement, and more. Before joining Exide, he held important positions at Tega Industries Ltd and Vedanta Ltd, further solidifying his expertise in corporate finance. His strategic leadership has already made a significant impact since his arrival, where he led crucial functions such as Treasury, IT, Procurement, and Taxation, playing a pivotal role in driving key initiatives for the company.

In his new role as CFO, Agarwal will continue to oversee the company’s comprehensive financial operations. His deep knowledge and extensive experience in financial management are expected to streamline Exide’s processes, enhance its capabilities, and contribute significantly to the company’s long-term growth.

The leadership change is seen as a strategic move to strengthen Exide’s financial and operational capabilities, ensuring greater efficiency and innovation.
