The Colchester Triumph VS is the most feature-filled conventional CNC machine

Rowan Easter-Robinson is at Colchester Machine Tool Solutions in Elland to show us the most feature-filled conventional CNC lathe. Speaking to Keith Clowe from Colchester Machine Tool Solutions, Rowan asks about the performance and design of the Colchester Triumph VS that’s been around for almost 40 years. With only a few tweaks every now and then, the design is almost identical to what it was decades ago. The machine comes with a three-jaw chuck and toolholder package, DRO, pump, light, and everything required to deliver the product ready-to-go for customers. Simply plug it in, put some coolant, and you’re off! It’s got a 54mm bore and 1250mm between centers. The Colchester Master is a slightly smaller version available for machine shops where there’s limited space, and offers a 42mm bore and 650mm between centers.
