Wednesday 13 October 2021, 2:54:47 PM

MTD recently visited Oxford Engineering, a magnificent UK manufacturing facility. Gio met with Karim Sekkat and Jonathan Kempen to discuss the latest investment into the APS Zero Point Clamping Systems from SMW Autoblok Telbrook and he looked into the benefits of this latest investment, with this universal and modular system they are eliminating set up times, the system is interchangeable between machine tools, it gives them supreme accuracy and repeatability and can be easily automated for lights out machining. Karim said that without this investment and automating in general they would not be successful or competitive, the Zero Point has helped to achieve a stable and repeatable process across machines which have increased overall efficiencies.
