K&N Engineering, a manufacturer of automotive filtration devices, opened a new manufacturing plant and warehouse in Grand Prairie, Texas, today.
The cutting-edge factory spans over 500,000 square feet and manufactures over 5,000 item numbers, including premium engine air filters and air intake systems.
The new plant will also be able to meet the company’s rising demand for HVAC household air filters and industrial data centre filters. The warehouse contains more than 15,000 pallet placements and will allow K&N to provide faster, more efficient delivery times.
The new factory, according to Humberto Mare, Vice President of Manufacturing at K&N, will create 300 employment in the area.
Since 1969, K&N Engineering has established itself as a leader in the automobile aftermarket industry. Racing teams, performance aficionados, and regular drivers all use the company’s products.
