GenX PV Sets Up New Aluminium Frame Manufacturing Facility in Raipur to Boost Local Solar Production!

GenX PV India, a leading manufacturer in the solar energy sector known for its split junction boxes with integrated diodes, has announced its plans to establish a fully integrated aluminium frame production facility in Raipur, scheduled to open by early next year. This new facility is projected to produce 18,000 metric tons of aluminium annually, primarily to support local solar panel manufacturers and decrease reliance on imports from China. The Raipur plant will offer comprehensive solutions, including extrusion, anodizing, and cutting processes, enhancing GenX PV’s in-house aluminium frame production capabilities.

The announcement took place during the Renewable Energy India Expo 2024, held from October 3-5 at the India Expo Center in Greater Noida. Alongside this expansion, GenX PV is also set to increase its junction box manufacturing capacity in Bangalore, elevating it from 20 GW to 50 GW by FY25, thereby solidifying its position in the solar panel materials sector. The company anticipates substantial revenue growth, projecting an increase from INR 200 crore in FY24 to INR 900 crore by FY25.
