    Detailed Specification

    Single turret high precision lathe available with or without a tailstock.

    The LX-08C was primarily designed for mid-size flange work and shaft work. It features a rigid mono-cast iron 30°slant bed to give an efficient chip flow.

    The LX-08C is with 10-station turret.

    Tail stock can be chosen from three different types. These options enable you to do efficient, heavy-duty machining on simple work pieces as well as hard material work pieces.

    Tough Tool-Holding for Tough Jobs

    High-powered machining: a 10-station turret with powerful curvic coupling and positive tool-holding by direct wedge-clamping on five tool stations.

    High-Rigidity Spindle

    The main spindle incorporates double-row cylindrical precision bearings in the front, and angular-contact precision trust ball bearings in the rear. The extra rigidity provides stable, high precision turning through-out the entire speed range. As a result, additional grinding process can be eliminated.

    A Variety of Options

    Tail Stock

    A tail stock can be chosen from three different types to suite your needs: quill-type with a MT-4 live center for general-purpose center holding, a high-rigidity quill-type with a built-in center for extra center-holding force, and an extra-long slide type with a longer slide travel.

    Auto gauging system

    Mount the touch sensor to the turret face, auto-measure the work-piece after the cut, then wear offset the tool and control the tool life by combination with Custom Macro-B and software.

    High Pressure Coolant

    High-Pressure Coolant works for both ID and OD tools. Especially effective on ID tools with oil hole cutting tool (Drill, boring bar) for cooling and chip disposal.
