ZF Aftermarket Showcases Sustainable Automotive Solutions at AAPEX and SEMA 2024!

ZF Aftermarket is set to highlight its dedication to sustainability and innovation at the 2024 Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo (AAPEX) and Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. With a focus on enhancing vehicle longevity through high-quality replacement and remanufactured components, ZF aims to exceed customer expectations in both the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors.

Mark Cali, Head of North America Aftermarket Passenger Car at ZF, expressed enthusiasm about connecting with customers at these premier events: “We are excited to showcase our latest products and innovations at AAPEX and SEMA, which are key platforms for our diverse customer base.” ZF’s booth at the Venetian Expo Center will feature an extensive range of products, including new expansions in its TRW braking portfolio.

One of the key highlights this year is the introduction of TRW Brake Hoses, adding to ZF’s expansive line of brake components. By the end of the year, over 500 new brake hose part numbers will be available across the U.S. and Canada, covering both domestic and international vehicles. Manufactured to meet TRW’s original equipment specifications, these hoses offer superior performance, including improved pedal feel and enhanced stopping power, especially in vehicles equipped with advanced braking technologies like Anti-Lock Braking Systems (ABS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).

With a rich history in braking system design, ZF’s TRW aftermarket portfolio already features over 3,000 parts, including brake pads, discs, fluids, boosters, and master cylinders.

ZF’s focus on sustainability is also evident through its commitment to remanufactured products. At AAPEX, the company will showcase remanufactured TRW steering gears, WABCO air compressors, and electronic control units (ECUs), highlighting the environmental and cost-saving benefits of remanufacturing.

Jeff Stukenborg, Head of Reman Engineering for ZF Aftermarket North America, explained, “Remanufacturing is an industrialized process that allows us to restore used parts to meet or exceed their original quality standards, while reducing waste by reusing up to 90% of materials.” These products not only provide exceptional performance but also cost significantly less than new components. Stukenborg will further explore ZF’s remanufacturing approach and sustainability goals during his presentation at the AAPEX Sustainability Stage.

With its innovative products and commitment to sustainability, ZF Aftermarket is set to make a lasting impact at AAPEX and SEMA 2024.
