Taxan, a Japanese company, will open a new $40 million factory in San Luis Potosi, Mexico

Taxan México has started construction of a $40 million factory in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to increase its production capabilities in the country.

The company’s current operation in the state, which manufactures 500,000 pieces each month and employs 500 people, provides electronic components, primarily for the automobile industry.

The plant is scheduled to open in March 2024.According to officials, the new facility would boost monthly production to 1 million pieces and generate 1,000 new employment. Taxan will concentrate on the production of automotive board assembly goods, semi-finished products, and electrical components. Nissan, Ford, Mazda, and Toyota are among the company’s clientele.
