Solidus Techno Power Partners with Sol-Bright to Revolutionize Solar Maintenance in India!

Solidus Techno Power Pvt Ltd, a prominent solar engineering and project firm based in India, has forged a strategic long-term partnership with Sol-Bright New Energy Technology Co, Ltd., a global leader in solar technology. This collaboration aims to enhance automated operation and maintenance (O&M) capabilities for solar plants across India, with the initial project set to deploy dry robotic cleaning systems at a 28.71 MWp solar site in Kitasar, Rajasthan. The partnership is expected to expand to multiple future projects, signaling a shift towards smarter and more sustainable solar infrastructure management.

The core objective of this collaboration is to reduce water usage, minimize manual maintenance efforts, and enhance the overall performance and efficiency of solar plants, particularly in regions like Rajasthan where dust accumulation and water scarcity are significant challenges. The dry robotic cleaning system installed at the Kitasar site uses no water, requiring minimal human intervention, which marks a significant step forward in how Solidus Techno Power plans to manage and maintain its solar assets. This automated cleaning system represents a crucial advancement for the solar energy industry, as it not only ensures consistent cleaning and performance but also conserves valuable water resources—vital for areas with limited water availability.

Harvinder Singh, Director of Solidus Techno Power, emphasized the long-term strategic shift towards automated O&M. “We see this as a long-term shift in how we maintain our plants. This partnership isn’t just for one location—it’s part of a broader strategy to build smarter and more sustainable solar infrastructure across the country,” he said. Solidus has earned a strong reputation for delivering customized solar solutions with fast execution, and currently manages more than 200 MWp of solar projects across North India. The company views robust and efficient operations and maintenance practices as essential for the long-term success and sustainability of solar projects.

Sol-Bright, known for its cutting-edge robotic cleaning technology, is already a global leader in solar maintenance solutions. With over 98,000 cleaning units deployed worldwide, covering nearly 40 GWp of solar capacity, Sol-Bright has a proven track record of operating in diverse and challenging environments, including regions in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Their cleaning robots are now in their 7th generation and are specifically designed to provide dry, automated maintenance for solar panels. This innovative technology is designed to function efficiently in areas with limited water and harsh environmental conditions, making it a perfect fit for Solidus’s solar assets in India.

The Kitasar deployment will serve as a pilot project to test the new technology’s effectiveness before it is rolled out across more of Solidus’s upcoming industrial and utility-scale solar installations. Priya Gupta, Country Head for Sol-Bright in India, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “Solidus is a committed partner focused on quality and long-term performance. We’re glad to support their plans with proven technology that’s already working in tough conditions around the world.”

This collaboration reflects the broader trend of modernizing solar infrastructure and embracing solutions that not only reduce environmental impact but also improve the reliability and efficiency of solar power generation. With India’s solar sector rapidly expanding, partnerships like this one between Solidus and Sol-Bright are poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of clean energy development in the country. By adopting automated and water-saving technologies, Solidus Techno Power is positioning itself as a leader in the next wave of sustainable solar energy innovation.
