In a landmark collaboration at Aero India 2025, Bharat Forge and Liebherr announced their partnership to set up an advanced aerospace manufacturing facility in Pune, India. This new facility, expected to be operational by 2025, will address the growing demand in the global aerospace industry. The manufacturing plant will feature a ring mill incorporating state-of-the-art forging and machining technologies to produce high-precision components, including landing gear components.
The partnership, led by Bharat Forge Ltd, reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering world-class aerospace solutions for Liebherr and its global customer base. Guru Biswal, Aerospace CEO at Bharat Forge Ltd, emphasized that this collaboration is a testament to both companies’ dedication to innovation and excellence in the aerospace sector. He highlighted the ring mill investment and the focus on landing gear machining capabilities as central to their strategy to produce precision-engineered components that create long-term value for the aerospace industry.
