Starrag Showcases Aerospace Expertise at 2025 Paris Air Show

Starrag AG, a global leader in precision machining, is set to showcase its cutting-edge aerospace technologies at the 55th International Paris Air Show from June 16 to 22, 2025, as part of the SWISS Pavilion.

Headquartered in Rorschacherberg, Switzerland, Starrag has established itself as a cornerstone of aerospace component manufacturing, thanks to its Aerospace and Turbine Competence Center located on the shores of Lake Constance. This dedicated centre focuses on six critical component types: blisks, turbine blades, impellers, engine casings, and structural components in titanium and aluminium.

“Our Competence Center is one of the most comprehensive aerospace technology hubs in the world,” said Michael Schedler, Head of Marketing at Starrag. “We develop and refine customised machining solutions that are built around the demands of aerospace — prioritising efficiency, precision, and long-term process reliability.”

Starrag’s aerospace legacy dates back to the early 20th century, with aviation playing a crucial role in its growth from the very beginning. Today, the company delivers fully integrated machining systems to global leaders in civil and military aviation, energy, transport, and precision engineering.

The product and service portfolio goes far beyond 5-axis milling. Starrag provides:

  • Tailored machine tools for demanding materials
  • Aerospace-specific CAD/CAM integration and software
  • Turnkey engineering solutions and process simulations
  • Application-specific tooling and customer training

“Our strength isn’t just in the hardware,” explained Dr. Bernhard Bringmann “It’s in our ability to understand and optimise the entire manufacturing process — from initial design to finished component.”

As the Paris Air Show draws thousands of decision-makers from across the aviation world, Starrag’s presence underlines its continued commitment to innovation, quality, and customer collaboration in aerospace manufacturing.
