Tony Gunn of MTDCNC is with Justin Pond of Spirit AeroSystems to talk about the continued growth in their business with the FLEXIMILL from MODIG. Installing FLEXIMILL allowed Spirit AeroSystems to design machines in a way that supported the production needs in the factory. What previously used to take multiple setups and multiple machines can now be achieved in one setup, reducing cycle times, lead times, and overall costs for Spirit AeroSystems. The FLEXIMILL offers a 360 head movement with the ability to rotate to any angle for making a cut.
