Small machine to big machine? They’ve gone the other way around!
Direct Engineering in Chesterfield is using some fascinating machines to make a diverse range of components…
Dicker Precision has recently made an investment in a new VMC1100 from Dugard. This machine is equipped with a wide range of options, including probing, a 4th axis unit, and through-spindle coolant. Mark wasted no time in putting the machine to work, with delivery taking place only two weeks after the order was placed. Currently, the machine has only been used to cut stainless steel, but the results have been impressive, as you will see.
